Jordan Concord INSANITY

If you haven’t heard about what’s going on at this very minute. the new Jordan Concord sneakers are out and people are rioting, stealing, fighting, and KILLING over them. It is insane. All I can say is we haven’t learned a DAMN THING about bettering ourselves and not being so greedy…especially for some shoes that cost a few dollars (if that) to make and are going for 200 bucks. That alone is reprehensible, but now we’ve got the violence and death..OVER SHOES. And Captain IQ in the video below talking about how the little kid was crying because he couldnt get shoes? NO, he cried because he’s spoiled and wants the **200** dollar shoes…all while mama is probably working her a** off just trying to make ends meet. CMON SON! LETS KEEP IT REALLY REAL. Wow.

You’ve gotta watch this video. Not only is the line amazing, but the “Get Money Boys” show up and represent for young America to the fullest. *sarcasm*. I’m still stuck on the clown LICKING his shoe sole talking about “it’s realllll”. Check it out here –

So after hearing about this all day, I came home and settled down. I dropped this out in about 5 minutes and felt like sharing it.

Im not sportin jordans that need a safety warnin.
These cats is robbin n swarmin sendin folks to the morgue and leavin mamas mournin.
Brain washed got it bored in media forcin impressionable cats. Yes they coerce them.
stores open up shop greedy zombies pour in. im floored these cats regret not what theyre doin I abhor them
more than I can speak on, got no love for them.
Bits of leather and plastic big baller and youre in.
kill your neighbor for some garbage from a third world sweatshop, then chain yourself around your ankles, and brag on just how hot,
you are as a sign that you gettin gwap, sell your soul to join a circus of have nots actin like they hot braggin when theyre not.
so lace em tight, hug em at night, lick the soles like a bondage slave,
and watch the corporate giants laugh and get paid
cuz you just got played.

What’s your opinion on this shoe-craze sweeping the nation? Please tell me there’s nobody that thinks ANY of this is acceptable? And if not, why do we KEEP seeing this happen every time something new comes out? When will it stop?

…and when will the Money Makin Maniaks of America get their heads outta their backpockets and stop letting their kids “get ammonia”?

I wanted to take a moment and wish all of you Merry Christmas (and if you don’t celebrate it, don’t be a grinch and try to bring others down who do)! I hope all of you are doing well, and keeping it really real, if you aren’t – I pray you are hanging in there through the holidays and staying strong, so you can come out on the other side. This has been a tough year for a lot of people, but you made it this far – keep going! Whether you are rolling in toys and christmas cookies or you are just trying to make ends meet, I hope you all take the time to remember the reason for the season…and go out and share a little love, compassion, friendship, and good spirit.

The Richest Man in Babylon

I picked up a book awhile back because a friend had told me about how it helped him manage his finances through simple easy to understand stories. I, being like most people, battled with trying to keep my head above water with my money all the time. I picked it up and read it. It did it’s job. I applies the rules in the book to my life and started finding that where before I was always broke – now I had all my bills paid, money in the savings was growing rapidly, and I STILL had money to go out 3-4 nights a week and kick it at the clubs. I see a lot of people in my circles living their life blowing every dollar they get, just waiting for the next check so they can do it all again…but never really getting ahead. I am writing this to share what someone else shared with me. I want to see myself and everyone around me get ahead, and this book is one way to help do that.

The book is called The Richest Man in Babylon“, written by George Samuel Clason. (Now you know where Thievery Corporation got their album title from). It is written in a parable format based in old Babylonian times, but even though it was written back in 1926 it still very much applies today. I am attaching the book in it’s entirety here so you too can reap the benefits of the knowledge passed down in this book. As books go, its a pretty quick read so dont be frightened by it. Read just a chapter a day so each lesson can sink in for 24 hours…and then start applying what is taught in the book ASAP. I just want to see all of you succeed and gain control over your financial situations in life as well. If I can do it, you can do it.
